Vicky Smith – HNS DANCE SCHOOL

I have loved music and dance from as early as I can remember. Salsa hooked me when I lived in the UK (from 2001) and have been addicted to the dance ever since. When moving back to Johannesburg South Africa, I decided to start teaching Salsa and this is how the HNS Dance School began. We had our very first class in June 2004 and I have now had the privilege of instructing for 20 years.

Over the years I was introduced into other Afro-Latin dances, such as Bachata and Kizomba. So, this gave me a great opportunity to diversify and expand the reach on fellow dancers. Now living the best dance life of SBK.

I love the SBK dances because of the music, the freedom they allow, the way you can express it, the way your personality shows through and the people it attracts. A Passion for Life!
