Eugénia Pião is Portuguese and has lived in Mozambique for 12 years. She has been dancing since the age of 4 and is trained in 16 dance styles. She’s certified by the WDSF (World Dance Sport Federation) and has an international certificate in Dance Teacher Training and Choreographic Editing recognised by CID (International Dance Concil). In Mozambique she soon became National Kizomba Champion, and since then, being professionally certified as a dance teacher, she has trained several current teachers, and even national and international dance champions. She founded her own Afro-Latin dance school Haban’Arte and has mentored several award-winning dancers and projects, such as Team 10-0 or even Canada’s kizomba champions. She is a regular guest artist at international dance festivals in Portugal, Mozambique, South Africa, Italy, Spain, Swaziland and many more.
She is known for her creativity and technical demands, without ever losing the fun and passion!
