Anita, a Zambian artist with roots in Angola, brings a rich blend of cultural heritage to her work, deeply connected to Kizomba, a traditional Angolan dance.
Beginning her journey in Latin dance in 2010, Anita trained under Shannon Marsh and later co-founded SalsAfrica, Zambia’s premier salsa group, promoting Latin dance in the region. As Co-Director at We Dance Lusaka, she has led classes and organized festivals, sharing her expertise in salsa, kizomba, bachata, and semba.

With a vision for dance as a pathway to sustainable income and personal growth, Anita champions dance as a means for African youth to develop talent, build connections, and enhance well-being. Holding a Bachelor’s in Economics and Finance, she aims to further this mission in her future endeavors.
