Marlien is a 400 hour qualified Yoga instructor, having by also qualified in Pilates May and Exercise Science. She invites practitioners to meet their bodies with understanding and mindfulness. To approach movement from a place of ease and understanding, without judgement.
Marlien aims to create a space that feels safe and welcoming to all that attends. Her classes are structured around meditation, breath work, as well as movement, to balance mind, body and heart.
She believes that everyone and every type of body can practice Yoga. You don’t need to be flexible to do Yoga. The purpose that she wishes to share, is to meet yourself for where you are in your body and to move in a way that suits your individual body.
The practice is just as much for men as it is for women, to warm up into the joints and to connect with your body as you get ready for a day and weekend of dancing.
